Competition regulations

  1. The competition will take place from 26th to 27th April 2014 at the premisses of Gymnazium Nova Paka (hall and classrooms).
  2. It is competition with international participation and violinists of all nations can take part in it.
  3. All compositions will be performed by heart and without repeat.
  4. There will be 3 juries (for 1st and 2nd category, for 3rd and 4th category, for 5th and 6th category).
  5. The decision of the jury (Czech and foreign experts) is definitive and conference is closed for public.
  6. The organizer has the privilege to decide whether the competition will be broadcasted.
  7. All rounds will take place in attendance of the public.
  8. The results will be made public after the end of each round.
  9. The participants of the competition have to perform in the possible evening concert if asked by organizers.
  10. Participants will be awarded by diplomas for 1st place (gold medal, 2nd place (silver medal) and 3rd place (bronze medal), diplomas for the best performance of the compulsory compositions and certificates to remember participation in the competition. There will be absolute winner of the 18th Annual of the International Violin Competition of Master Josef Muzika rewarded.
